Top 5 Sustainable Investment Events

Sustainability is much more than a buzzword. The need to create an environmental consciousness is growing as the planet’s problems intensify, making sustainable investment the more important. Events are great spaces where to share these ideas and create awareness. So here we present the top 5 sustainable events, from CC Forum Monaco: Investment in Sustainable Development, to forums like Responsible Investment Forum: Europe.

The goal of any event is to have attendees connect, interact, and share their experiences with others. Sustainable investing, also known as socially responsible investing, which includes the process of incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) measures into investment decisions. It has drawn much attention among both individual investors and asset managers in the world’s largest institutions.

Investors who are facing urgent challenges, like the pandemic, climate change, health, safety, and community development, are seeking investment solutions that can provide real impact. Investors are proactively directing towards the capital to sustainable and impactful investments by using a strategic and affiliated approach that can probably generate real revenues. These individuals choose to invest in firms, organizations, and funds with the intention of generating substantial social and environmental impact alongside a financial return.

As Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank said: “Private capital is often an important source of sustainable finance. Public finance alone may not be sufficient to meet the demands for sustainable finance as the global economy continues to grow and poses increasing burdens on our resources and ecosystems. Mobilizing private investment in areas such as sustainable infrastructure, sustainable technologies and business model innovations, among others, can deliver substantive environmental, social, and economic benefits”.
