Shalom Azar Helps Lead Fischman Azar Group as Fort Lee Wealth Management Team Expands

Fischman Azar Group Adds Seven Client Associates

Shalom Azar, Senior Financial Advisor and co-founder of the Fischman Azar Group, is part of the leadership team behind the Fort Lee, New Jersey-based wealth management practice’s continued expansion at Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network.

The Fischman Azar Group recently announced the addition of seven Client Associates as the team continues to grow its client service and operational support model. The new Client Associates are David Bar David, Jonathan Jacoby, Benjamin Matthew, Moshe Isaacson, Eitan Sklar, Aharon Wieden and Shalom Kadosh.

Each joins the group in a client associate role, supporting day-to-day client relationships, administrative service and operational needs across the practice. Their addition reflects the group’s broader focus on building a service platform around clients with complex planning requirements.

Azar’s Role in the Practice

Azar co-founded the Fischman Azar Group after beginning his career at Merrill Lynch. He partnered with Alexander “Sandy” Fischman in 2019, helping develop the practice into a broader advisory team serving senior executives, individuals and families.

As a Senior Financial Advisor, Azar works primarily with senior executives at public companies. His areas of focus include tax-efficient executive compensation strategies, trust and estate planning strategies, legacy planning strategies and broader wealth management.

That focus places Azar at the center of the group’s work with clients whose financial lives often involve compensation structures, equity awards, concentrated positions, liquidity needs and long-term planning considerations.

Focus on Executive Compensation and Wealth Planning

The Fischman Azar Group emphasizes investment planning and a boutique client service model. For Azar, that model is closely connected to the needs of executives and individuals managing multiple financial priorities at once.

The group’s work includes executive compensation planning, estate and legacy planning strategies, education planning and access to lending and liquidity resources through Wells Fargo affiliates. These areas are especially relevant for clients who may need coordinated guidance around investments, compensation, family goals and longer-term wealth transfer.

Azar’s work with senior executives at public companies reflects the group’s wider specialization in planning around compensation and wealth management. Rather than focusing only on portfolio construction, the team’s service model is built around the broader financial picture, including how compensation, investment planning, estate considerations and liquidity needs interact.

Growth at Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network

The Fischman Azar Group transitioned to Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network in 2025. The move placed the team within Wells Fargo FiNet, the independent advisor channel of Wells Fargo Advisors.

Through that structure, the group continues to operate with a focus on investment planning and a boutique service experience while also working within the resources of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network.

The expansion of the client associate team adds additional support around the group’s day-to-day service model. For Azar and the other advisors, the new hires strengthen the team’s ability to support client relationships, coordinate administrative needs and maintain ongoing service for clients with complex financial circumstances.

Broader Fischman Azar Group Team

Azar works alongside Alexander “Sandy” Fischman, who founded the practice in 2015 and specializes in stock compensation strategies, corporate benefits and customized wealth planning. Fischman was named a 2024 Forbes Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisor, Best-In-State.

The advisory team also includes Solomon Tobal, who advises clients on customized investment strategies and brings a background in relationship management and pre-IPO investments; Tomer Mizrahi, who specializes in equity compensation management, investment and estate planning strategies and overall wealth management; and Nicholas Iarrapino, a Senior Registered Client Associate who supports client financial goals and administrative needs.

The Fischman Azar Group is located at 2200 Fletcher Avenue, Suite 701, in Fort Lee, New Jersey. With the addition of seven Client Associates, the group continues to expand its service capacity while maintaining its focus on investment planning, executive compensation, estate and legacy planning strategies and personalized wealth management.
