Your resulting number is the FCF, and a good FCF number allows a company to pursue growth from a healthy financial perspective and wise investments.
- Ending Cash Flow is the number that you get when you take the starting balance of the company bank account, add in all the cash that came in for the period, then subtract all the expenses for the same time period. The ending number should be a positive number, and this is an easy way to quickly figure out the company’s cash flow within a specific time period.
