The new platform lets governments and regulated enterprises run models, agents, data and GPU infrastructure entirely within their own environment, including fully air-gapped deployments.

Airrived has launched a Sovereign AI Platform designed to give enterprises and governments more control over how agentic AI operates inside their organisations. The platform can run on-premises, on private GPU infrastructure or inside fully air-gapped environments, allowing sensitive data, prompts and model activity to remain within organisational boundaries.

The launch targets one of the biggest concerns surrounding enterprise AI adoption: dependence on externally hosted models and cloud infrastructure. Airrived argues that true AI sovereignty requires control not only over data location, but also over models, compute, orchestration and governance.

Sovereign AI Moves Beyond Data Residency

For many organisations, data residency has become a central requirement when adopting AI. Airrived says that requirement does not go far enough.

The company’s approach focuses on ownership of the wider intelligence stack, including the models being used, the infrastructure running them and the agents interacting with enterprise systems.

Anurag Gurtu, Co-founder and CEO of Airrived, said: “AI sovereignty isn’t simply about where your data is stored. It’s about who controls the entire intelligence stack.”

He added that enterprises should be able to choose their own models, operate their own agents and control their infrastructure without losing the capabilities of agentic AI.

An Agentic OS Built for Enterprise Control

At the centre of the new platform is Airrived’s Agentic OS.

The system combines agent orchestration, models, enterprise context, reasoning, governance, observability and AI applications within a single architecture. Organisations can use pre-built applications or create their own agents while maintaining control over the infrastructure underneath them.

Airrived says the platform allows organisations to run AI fully on-premises or inside air-gapped networks, choose which models they want to use and operate private GPU infrastructure on their own terms.

It also aims to reduce dependence on token-based SaaS pricing. By running models locally, enterprises can avoid some of the cost volatility associated with externally hosted AI services.

Designed for Regulated and Sensitive Environments

The platform is aimed particularly at governments, financial institutions, critical infrastructure operators and other highly regulated sectors.

For these organisations, sending sensitive prompts or proprietary data to external AI providers can create legal, cybersecurity and compliance risks. In some environments, using externally hosted systems may not be acceptable at all.

Airrived’s fully air-gapped deployment option is designed for those situations. It allows the entire agentic AI environment to operate without sending data outside the organisation.

That makes the platform particularly relevant for defence, government, finance and other sectors where control over infrastructure can be as important as the intelligence itself.

Airrived Targets the Economics of Enterprise AI

The launch also addresses the financial side of AI deployment.

Many enterprise AI systems rely on usage-based pricing from external model providers, which can make costs difficult to predict as adoption scales.

Airrived positions local deployment as an alternative. Organisations can operate private compute infrastructure and reduce their exposure to changing token costs while maintaining control over the models they use.

This does not eliminate infrastructure costs, but it gives enterprises greater control over how those costs are structured.

Sovereign AI Already in Production

Airrived says the model has already moved beyond concept stage.

Through its partnership with Wizdom, the company’s Agentic OS powers agentic AI capabilities inside Wizdom’s own data centre infrastructure. Airrived presents this as an example of sovereign AI running in a production environment rather than as a theoretical architecture.

The company says demand for this model is increasing as governments across the Middle East expand national AI strategies focused on digital resilience and control over data and infrastructure.

Middle East Pushes AI Sovereignty Higher on the Agenda

Airrived is launching the platform at a time when governments across the GCC are increasing investment in national AI infrastructure.

The company points to initiatives such as the UAE’s National AI Strategy as evidence that AI adoption in the region is increasingly linked to sovereignty, data control and national resilience.

For governments, the issue is no longer simply whether to deploy AI. It is also where that intelligence runs, who controls it and whether critical data remains inside national or organisational boundaries.

That shift could make sovereign AI a larger part of enterprise infrastructure planning, particularly in regulated industries.

From Cloud AI to Sovereign AI

Airrived argues that enterprise AI is moving through another major transition.

Cloud computing made infrastructure more accessible, while generative AI made advanced intelligence widely available. The next phase, according to the company, will focus on ownership and control.

“The future of enterprise AI will not just be agentic. It will be sovereign,” Gurtu said.

The wider question for enterprises is whether the convenience of public AI platforms will remain enough as AI becomes more deeply integrated into critical operations.

For organisations operating sensitive systems, sovereignty may increasingly become a requirement rather than a preference.

Airrived to Showcase Platform at GISEC Global

Airrived will showcase the Sovereign AI Platform at GISEC Global from 16 to 18 September 2026 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai.

The launch follows Airrived’s #1 overall ranking in the AWS/CTIB Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator, a programme backed by AWS, CrowdStrike, CyberE71 and the UAE Cyber Security Council.

About Airrived

Airrived is the company behind an enterprise Agentic OS that allows organisations to build, deploy, govern and operate AI agents and agentic applications.

The platform supports cybersecurity, IT and enterprise operations, with deployment options across on-premises infrastructure, private environments and fully air-gapped networks.
