A Career Shaped by Patience, Purpose, and Execution
Steve Pantalemon has never been drawn to shortcuts. His career has grown through steady decisions, hands-on work, and a focus on ideas that can actually be built and sustained. As a Southern California–based entrepreneur, real estate investor, and media business owner, Steve has spent years turning practical ideas into working businesses.
“I’ve always believed ideas only matter if you’re willing to do the work behind them,” he says. “Execution is where everything gets tested.”
That mindset shows up across his career. From residential real estate to video production, Steve has focused on projects where effort, discipline, and long-term thinking make the difference.

Early Life and the Values That Stayed With Him
Steve was born in New York and raised in Orange County, California. Growing up with older sisters played a quiet but lasting role in shaping how he sees leadership and responsibility.
“You grow up learning to listen,” he says. “You become more aware of how decisions affect other people.”
Those early lessons stayed with him. Philanthropy was part of his life from a young age, especially supporting causes focused on women, children, and families. That sense of responsibility later became part of how he defined success.
Education and a Practical Business Foundation
Steve attended Esperanza High School before enrolling at California State University, Long Beach. There, he earned two bachelor’s degrees, one in Marketing and one in Business. The combination gave him a clear view of how companies operate and how they communicate.
“Marketing tells you how a story lands,” he explains. “Business tells you whether it holds up.”
He later completed one year of MBA coursework at Pepperdine University. While he chose not to finish the full programme, the experience added structure to how he approached planning, risk, and operations.
“I took what was useful and applied it right away,” he says.
Entering Residential Real Estate Investment
Steve’s professional career took shape in residential real estate. He focused on acquiring, remodeling, and managing properties rather than chasing fast turnover. Over time, he developed a portfolio of 13 homes, leased through a mix of short-term and long-term rental strategies.
“Real estate forces you to slow down,” he says. “You can’t rush repairs, tenants, or long-term value.”
Each property became a learning experience. Renovation decisions, tenant management, and long-term upkeep required patience and attention to detail.
“Every house teaches you something,” he adds. “If you ignore that, it shows up later.”
Rather than expanding quickly, Steve stayed close to the work. He remained involved in evaluating properties and making practical decisions about improvements and management.
Bringing Creative Ideas to Life Through Media
Alongside real estate, Steve launched P5 Video Production. The company focuses on video storytelling, branding, and content creation across different platforms and industries.
“I’ve always been interested in how stories are told,” Steve says. “Video just happens to be one of the clearest ways to communicate.”
P5 allowed him to apply business discipline to creative work. Clear messaging, strong production standards, and purpose-driven content became central to the company’s approach.
“Good ideas don’t need noise,” he says. “They need clarity.”
Steve sees strong parallels between media and real estate. Both require planning, structure, and consistency to succeed.
“If you cut corners, it shows,” he notes. “That’s true whether it’s a property or a piece of content.”
Leadership Through Involvement, Not Distance
As CEO and Owner across his ventures, Steve prefers to stay involved rather than manage from a distance. He believes leadership comes from understanding the details, not just setting direction.
“I like knowing what’s actually happening,” he says. “That’s how you make better decisions.”
Outside of work, Steve enjoys hiking, fitness, and spending time exploring food and wine. Cooking and wine pairings are creative outlets that balance his professional life.
“They give you space to think,” he says. “That’s important.”
Philanthropy as a Measure of Impact
Philanthropy runs alongside Steve’s business career. He supports organizations including Laura’s House, Children in Toyland, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Through the P5 Group foundation, he also supports sober living initiatives focused on long-term recovery.
“Success means more when it helps other people,” he says. “That’s always been important to me.”
For Steve, giving back is not separate from his career. It is part of how he defines progress and responsibility.
Building Work That Holds Up Over Time
Steve Pantalemon’s career is not built on hype or rapid expansion. It is built on ideas that were tested, adjusted, and sustained over time.
“I’m interested in building things that last,” he says. “That applies to business, creativity, and how you show up for your community.”
As his work continues to evolve, the approach remains the same. Start with a practical idea. Do the work. And stay committed long after the excitement fades.
