Reto Francioni

Dr. Reto Francioni has been the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Boerse AG since November 1, 2005. Dr. Francioni serves as the Head of the Management Board at Deutsche Boerse AG. He served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Boerse AG from March 8, 2007 to May 2007. He served as Chief Executive Officer of SIX Swiss Exchange Ltd. (known as SWX Swiss Exchange AG) since September 2005. He co-authored a trading textbook – Equity Markets in Action – with Robert Schwartz, a New York-based finance professor. He has a Degree and Doctorate in law from Zurich University.
