How a People-First Vision Built a Global Tech Leader

Ten years ago, the CEO of Epik Solutions helped launch a company with a simple belief. Technology should make work easier, not harder. That idea shaped every decision that followed.

What began in California as a small venture has grown into a global organization with more than 250 employees across the U.S., India, and Mexico. Today, Epik Solutions is known for helping businesses improve how they operate, scale, and support their people.

“We didn’t start with a product,” the CEO says. “We started with a problem. Too many systems made work more complex instead of more human.”

That mindset became the foundation of a career built around digital transformation with purpose.

The CEO Behind Epik Solutions and a Decade of Bold Change

Early Vision and the Birth of Epik Solutions

Epik Solutions was founded in October 2015 by three partners who saw a gap in how companies used technology. Most transformation projects focused on replacing systems. Few focused on improving experience.

The CEO wanted to change that.

“We weren’t interested in tearing everything down,” he explains. “We wanted to build on what already worked and make it better.”

The name Epik was intentional. It stood for big, bold transformation, not small upgrades. From the start, the company focused on improving customer, employee, IT, and back-office experiences together.

That holistic view set Epik Solutions apart early.

    Redefining Digital Transformation

Over time, the Digital Transformation Lead helped shape Epik Solutions into a firm known for flexibility. Its services now include workforce solutions, AI transformation, and data platforms that aggregate, integrate, and interpret information across systems.

“We don’t replace platforms,” he says. “We complement them. That’s what makes our work adaptable.”

This approach proved effective. About 90% of Epik Solutions’ business comes from repeat clients. Each engagement is measured with clear KPIs and service-level indicators.

“Results matter,” the CEO says. “If you can’t measure impact, you can’t claim success.”

Leadership Built on People, Not Just Systems

As the company grew, so did its internal culture. The CEO believed that transformation had to start inside the organization.

“People matter most,” he says. “Technology only works when people feel respected.”

Epik Solutions adopted global work-from-home policies and flexible schedules long before they were common. Productivity was measured by outcomes, not hours.

“Work should fit into life,” he says. “Everyone moves at a different pace.”

That belief was tested during the COVID-19 pandemic. While many firms downsized, Epik Solutions did not lay off a single employee.

“We made a promise,” the CEO says. “And we kept it.”

That decision helped strengthen trust across teams and time zones.

Using Technology to Solve Bigger Problems

Beyond business operations, the Platform Lead guided Epik Solutions into climate technology and social impact work. One major focus has been wildfire mitigation with large utility companies.

“Technology can help prevent disasters,” he explains. “Not just respond to them.”

Using data and AI, Epik Solutions supported efforts to predict and reduce wildfire risk. These projects aligned with a broader belief that modern companies should contribute to real-world solutions.

“Social responsibility isn’t optional anymore,” the CEO says. “It’s part of how business should work.”

Simplify and Grow as a Leadership Principle

The company’s guiding message is simple: Simplify and Grow.

For the CEO, it’s not marketing language. It’s a leadership framework.

“Complexity slows people down,” he says. “Simplicity creates space for growth.”

That idea shapes how Epik Solutions scales. Growth is intentional. Expansion follows capability, not hype. Each new project is treated as a long-term partnership.

“One solution at a time,” the CEO explains.

A Decade In, and Looking Forward

As Epik Solutions marks ten years, its leadership remains focused on what comes next. The company’s reach is global, but its values remain personal.

“Transformation isn’t about software,” the CEO says. “It’s about helping people do their best work.”

That belief has defined his career and positioned Epik Solutions as a steady voice in a fast-moving industry.

“We’re still learning,” he adds. “But the future of technology will be more human. That’s where we’re headed.”
